SF Sketchfest Unveils 2012 Lineup

San Francisco’s annual SF Sketchfest books so many uniquely special comedy shows over so many consecutive nights, I’m not sure why every comedy fan doesn’t just decide to live in San Francisco for the first month of every year.

Proving that again is the lineup, announced today, for the 11th annual festival, which runs from Jan. 19 through Feb. 4.

Among the highlights:

Tributes for Eddie Izzard and the Upright Citizens Brigade quartet (Matt Besser, Amy Poehler, Ian Roberts and Matt Walsh)
Wet Hot American Summer: The Live Radio Play with Michael Ian Black, Joe Lo Truglio, Ken Marino, Christopher Meloni, Marguerite Moreau, Amy Poehler, Paul Rudd, Molly Shannon, Michael Showalter, David Wain and surprise guests
A screening and conversation with Elliott Gould, Sally Kellerman and Kathryn Altman of M*A*S*H
A RiffTrax Presents screening with Kevin Murphy and Bill Corbett and guest riffers David Cross, John Hodgman, Bruce McCulloch, Paul F. Tompkins, Cole Stratton and Janet Varney
