The California Academy of Sciences has a knack for pairing up their weekly evening party for grownups, NightLife, with the hippest goings-on of the city. This week’s installment of NightLife is about all things SF Sketchfest. Greg Proops, Will Franken, and a host of other top comedians make appearances to help you laugh up your mixed drink, while New Wave City DJs spin ’80s dance music all night long — non-ironically, of course. In between the stand-up and the dance party, you can also treat yourself to a tour of the universe in the planetarium, check out the view from the rooftop patio, or ogle the famed four-story indoor rainforest. A night of pop music and planetariums — what more could you ask for?”

The call of the wild has beckoned SF Sketchfest back for another round of laughs at NightLife. The evening features Night at the Museum co-screenwriters Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant; improv and stand-up extraordinaire Greg Proops; thinking-persons’ comedians Rick Overton, Will Franken and Brian Malow; the amazing three-man Los Angeles improvisational troupe Convoy; and the brilliantly absurd conceptual sketch comedians Kasper Hauser.
