Moses Storm is a young Los Angeles based comedian from Kalamazoo, Michigan. Moses currently hosts his own stand up-show for Chris Hardwick’s Nerdist Theater at Meltdown Comics (Named “The #1 Indie Comedy Theater” - By LA Weekly). With immediate comic charisma and a crisp writing style, Moses is sought after for his ability to perform for a wide variety of audiences while making each show a unique, memorable experience.
His deadpan style of extremely personal comedy and observation won him the favor of “Two and a Half Men” Director, James Widdoes. Widdoes cast Moses to star in in his new sitcom for Hulu, “The 4 to 9ers.” You can also see him on the VH1 Sketch show, “Stevie TV” every Friday at 10pm or as a recurring cast member of Yahoo’s “Sketchy”. Moses spent his early childhood traveling with his parents and 4 siblings as missionaries. What kind of missionaries? Well, his Jewish Dad and Catholic Mother started their own religion entitled, “The Way”…..but most people just call it a cult. After years of extreme religious repression and homeschooling, Moses has emerged with a highly unique comic voice and knowing nothing about “Science”. He came out of the gate in 2010 sprinting. Winning several Moth Story Slams, The Fresh Faces contest at the Hollywood Improv, The Los Angeles Indie Improv tournament (with his team ‘No Mamas’) and booking the lead role of “Ben Dorvis” in the Fremantel Meta series, “Kings of Campus”. The short lived series stared fellow comedians, Maria Bamford and Roy Wood Jr. immediately after Moses got signed with one of largest comedic Production/Managment companies, Principato-Young
Entertainment. This led to him booking a co-star on the ABC show,”No Ordinary Family”, and several national commercial campaigns. Including: Verizon, Ford, Echo Power Tools, Pepsi, and Subway. Currently, he can be seen performing around town at the UCB Theater, The Comedy Store, The Hollywood Improv, iO west, Flappers Comedy Club and any verity of weird Indie shows. Moses also runs his own stand up show, This Show Is Your Show, for Nerdist at Meltdown Comics. The show has been a hit, raking in over 700,000 viewers per show on the Stickam live stream. Performing live comedy is Moses’ favorite thing in the world…. Mostly because he is not good at anything else. And needless to say, he is ecstatic about any chance to perform!
