Mo Welch

Mo Welch started her comedic career in Denver, Colorado, performing at the famed Comedy Works and many indie comedy venues while also training at The Bovine Metropolis Theater. After Denver, she made her way via plane to her hometown of Chicago where she began her formal improv training at The Second City, iO and The Annoyance Theater. Welch also started producing her variety show, now in it’s fourth year, called The Mo Show. The Reader called the show “Hilariously Brilliant” while Time Out twice called it a ‘Critic’s Pick’.

Welch joins comedians TJ Miller, Kumail Nanjiani, Hannibal Buress, Fred Armisen and Kyle Kinane as an alumnus of the famed Lincoln Lodge in Chicago.

Her one human show Stalking My Friends debuted at Upright Citizens Brigade in June of 2012 and was directed by Funny or Die director Ian Pfaff. The The Show debuted at Comedy Central Stage in October of 2013. She also ran The Larry Bird Variety Hour at The Improv Lab in Los Angeles. She was part of the 2014 CBS Diversity Showcase.

Big thank you to Larry Bird.
