Françoise Gordon was born in Baltimore, Maryland. She played women’s lacrosse at Duke University. During the summer after her junior year of college (summer of ’01) Françoise was hit by a car and suffered a brain injury. She moved to New York City, from Baltimore, in February 2006. Once in NYC, Françoise began pursuing stand-up comedy for the first time in her life. Caroline’s on Broadway is the club where she started her comedy career and where she continues it. She had her own Breakout series at Caroline’s in ’11 and was in the ’10 and ’11 NY Comedy Festivals.
