David Huntsberger

David Huntsberger is a stand-up comedian whose voice you might recognize from his weekly podcast Professor Blastoff or his appearances on Doug Loves Movies, The Biggest Mistake, Comedy Film Nerds, or The Nooner Podcasts. Or perhaps you’ve seen him touring with comics like Nick Swardson, Doug Benson, or his Professor Blastoff co-host Tig Notaro. Or maybe you’ve heard his albums Hello Robotand Humantis  — the latter of which, produced through Stand-Up! Records, was number one on theseriouscomedysite.com’s 2011 year end top ten list.

David has made appearances on Comedy Central’s Premium Blend as well as NBC’s Last Comic Standing and has also written jokes for the Comedy Central Roasts of Flava Flav and Joan Rivers as well as The Benson Interruption, also for Comedy Central. He has been invited to the Bentzen Ball Comedy Festival and is a regular at the Bridgetown Comedy Festival in Portland, Oregon.

David is originally from Reno, Nevada but got his comedy start in Austin, Texas – where he was the runner-up in the 2006 Funniest Person in Austin contest. In his free-time, he enjoys drawing comics and animation – which can be seen at his website www.davidhuntsberger.com
