There are several ways to get involved with SF Sketchfest:
SF Sketchfest accepts submissions from sketch comedy groups, solo sketch/character performers, one-person shows, improv groups, short sketchy self-produced plays, live podcasts, alternative comedy acts, musical comedy acts, live podcasts and stand-up comedians. The 13th Annual SF Sketchfest is slated for January 23 – February 9, 2014.
Applications were accepted from June 1st through October 22nd, 2013. All those who applied will be contacted between November 15th and December 15th regarding their participation and the line-up is typically announced in early to mid December.
Each year, SF Sketchfest offers a number of paid staff positions and non-paid internships from mid-December through mid February. Positions include:
• Publicity and Marketing Coordinator
• Guest Services Coordinator
• Production Manager/Technical Director
• Stage Manager
• House Manager/Volunteer Coordinator
• Box Office/Concessions/Merchandise Manager
• Festival Internships

SF Sketchfest would not be possible without the support of our dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers. Volunteer positions include:
• Concessions/Merchandise Sales
• Poster/Flyer Distribution
• Drivers (must provide valid driver’s license and proof of insurance)

• Technical Support (Lights/Sound/Video)
• Pre-Festival Preparation
