SF Sketchfest is proud to present their ongoing series of showcases at the intimate Dark Room Theatre in the Mission District! Some of the best emerging sketch, improv, stand-up and alternative comedy in the country and the world!

David Dineen-Porter is a stand-up and filmmaker from Toronto. He was featured on Andy Kindler’s Alternative Show at Just For Laughs, at NXNE and the Toronto and Montreal Sketch Fests. He worked with PFFR, contributing to Adult Swim’s Xavier: Renegade Angel. Best known for his comedy shortL’Brondelle’s Universe, his work has been featured on Funny or Die and at the Worldwide Short Film Festival. He was a finalist in the national Laugh Out Loud Competition on CBC. He currently appears on Discovery Channel’s Prank Science, performs with acclaimed collective Laugh Sabbath, and co-hosts Don’t Get Bored Of Us And Leave.

EndGames Improv brings you San Francisco’s hottest improv show: “Your F!#&ed Up Relationship” – an entirely improvised comedy inspired by your ridiculous, REAL relationships.  We’ve all had at LEAST one.  You tell us your amazing stories, we show you ours. You laugh, we laugh, we all hook up at the end. EndGames is an SF-based improv theater and school.  We produce six shows weekly at StageWerx in the Mission District, including “Harold Night”, the return of our run-away hit “Confessions”, and, as always, “Your F@#$ed-Up Relationship”.  Check out our shows and classes at endgamesimprov.com.

Valley Meadows is the duo of Gary Schishynszenski (Chris Knutson) and MC Tom Johnson (Zach Coulter). The pair combine hilarious lyrics and high-energy stage antics with the bangin’-est beats to blow minds throughout the land. Where Bob and Doug MacKenzie meet Tenacious D, Valley Meadows emerges, fly enough to score in loafers and man enough to croon ballads about the rain. They recently released their debut, self-titled album on Stand Up! Records. Knutson is the winner of Acme Comedy Company’s 2010 Funniest Person Contest and Coulter is the winner of the 2011 ABSOLUT Funniest Comedian Contest. www.therealvalleymeadows.com

Sara Hennessey is a Toronto based stand up! STAR of Fuse TV & Much Music’s Video on Trial, Sara has performed with comedy heavyweights Maria Bamford & Andy Kindler. Sara has been featured in such festivals as JFL42, NXNE, Boston Comedy Festival, Cottage Country Comedy Festival, and currently here at the San Francisco Sketchfest! Sara appeared on The Jon Dore Television Show, contributes to Huffington Post Canada, and to CBC Radio. Her solo FRINGE FESTIVAL shows, ‘Sara Hennessey Time’, & ‘Sara Hennessey Town’ both received 4 Star reviews and PATRON’S PICK. Be sure to check out her Canadian Comedy Award nominated web-series ‘GOODBYE SARA HENNESSEY’ on your computing machines.
