Comedy Night at the Indy: Cameron Esposito
Cameron is a talented LA based writer/performer/comedian who hails from Chicago. Most recently, she appeared in a fantastic profile piece on “Last Call with Carson Daly. “Cameron was named one of the 25 Female Comedians Everyone Should Know by Flavorwire. She made her memorable late night debut on CBS’ “The Late Late show with Craig Ferguson,” in which Craig Ferguson and guest Jay Leno called her “the future of late night comedy.” Cameron will soon be recording her comedy album for the legendary record label Kill Rock Stars that will be released later this year. She’s a recurring panelist who appears frequently on “Chelsea Lately,” as well as “Take Part Live” on Pivot. She’s in the upcoming season of “Maron” on IFC, and she recently voiced a character on Cartoon Network’s “Adventure Time.” She’s also appeared on LOGO, NPR, at TBS’ Just for Laughs Chicago, SXSW, the Aspen Rooftop & Bridgetown Comedy Festivals (Portland Mercury Best of the Fest). Cameron has been named one of the top 12 LA Comedy Acts to Watch in 2013 by LA Weekly, a Best of 2012 by LA’s thecomedybureau.com, and Advocate’s Comedians We’re Proud Of. She moved to LA in late 2012 from Chicago, where she immediately took over the famed Tuesday 8pm slot at UCB Theatre with her very popular stand up show “Put Your Hands Together” (which she created/hosts/produces), replacing Comedy Bang Bang, that was just named by Rolling Stone as one of the Best Comedy Podcasts.
She is also the host/creator of the “Wham Bam Pow” action & scifi movie podcast on the Maximum Fun network. Cameron can be seen headlining comedy clubs across the country as well as touring with Anthony Jeselnik.
